September 3rd 2026 Newsletter. What's been happening at Crafted by Alison plus updates from Stampin' Up®
Hello & welcome to my latest newsletter.
Thank you for taking the time to read my musings & craft offerings. I hope all is well in your world.
The weather has been lovely lately. Even though the temps have still been MEH the sun has been shining & without a cold wind the days have been lovely. The windows & doors were all open earlier this week & I even hung out the sheets & washing & it dried!! Spring is one of my favourite seasons with the milder weather & all the beautiful buds starting to arrive on the trees and the bulbs starting to appear.
Last weekend we travelled down to Geelong for the Semi Final for my son's team. And they won!! Woohoo. That means they are now through to the Preliminary final. If they win that, it's the 'Grany'.
Socially, we enjoyed a lovely walk around our town this afternoon, joining other Probus members for a self-guided Art walking tour. It was a glorious day & we listened to the artists talk about their work as we checked out each of the murals. Some beautiful displays of skill & talent. I have some great photos for you & also took some nature pics & there's a couple of sculptures included too.
On the crafting front, I created some alternatives with supplies from the Kindred Greetings Paper Pumpkin kit, used a Stampin' Up!® sketch for inspiration & took up a challenge from a fellow demonstrator to use up scraps & leftovers to make 16 new cards! Quite proud of that effort. Most of those cards will be donated to local charities for their clients. Pictures of all my craftings and our Art walk are below.

For World Card Day on October 3rd, Stampin' up!® are holding a Virtual Card Retreat on the 2nd & 3rd October with a special kit designed to make 15 cards over the two days. More details below.
After last year's Advent Calendar selling out super quickly, Stampin' Up!® are again offering a crafting Advent kit with unique items behind every door over 12 days.
Another Christmas themed item recently released by Stampin' Up!® is the Advent-ures Craft Class. This class features instructions to make 24 Advent gift boxes. The supplies are sold seperately.

Stampin' Up® sold out of their Advent Calendar kit in 2025 & their second calendar is now available to order. Click on the link below to go directly to my online store to check it out.
Paper Pumpkin kits
Stampin' Up!® Paper Pumpkin kit subscriptions are now available to all markets around the world! You can subscribe to receive a mystery kit every month or buy them individually when you want them. Subscriptions are for 3, 6 or 12 months. Orders for the September kit are available now and close on the 10th September with subscription for the October kit starting on September 11th. Scenic Coast craft class
One of Stampin' Up!®s craft classes is the stunning Scenic Coast. It was held on June 19th but is still available for purchase.
Craft along with our Stampin’ Up! product experts during the Scenic Coast Craft Class. They’ll use the Scenic Coast Suite Collection to create four completely unique cards, exploring the versatility of suites with four different paper crafting styles: shabby chic, artful, traditional, and modern. By the end of the class, you’ll have lots of tips, techniques, and inspiration to continue crafting long after the class is over. As with other craft classes, once you purchase the class you will receive an email to join an exclusive facebook group.
World Card Making Day Virtual Card Retreat
To celebrate World Card Making Day 2026, SU have created a product filled kit with supplies to make 15 beautiful cards. Once you purchase that kit for $288 you will receive a link to join an exclusive Facebook group where all of the pre-cutting videos, lists of supplies needed & videos from the day will be posted.
